These review sites tout their favorite brand as being the best brand of hoodia on the market and typically make a list in order of their top choices, some listing up to 20 different products.
Some Sites Are Paid to Review
A little known fact about the hoodia review community is that the people behind the sites are often either taking payment directly from the manufactures of the products they review or are, in fact, the manufactures themselves using a false identity. Here is an easy way to determine the validity of a hoodia review site for yourself.

First of all, ANY review sites that you see listed in the "Sponsored" link sections of Google, Yahoo and MSN are not unbiased when it comes to product quality. These hoodia review sites are getting paid large sums of money to positively review their “top” products directly by the hoodia diet pill companies. They in turn use that money to pay the search engines to list their review sites.

If you go to Google and type in a search for "Hoodia", you will see several sites listed as "Sponsored" sites claiming to be independent hoodia review sites. We can't specifically list any companies involved in this deceptive practice, but you can see for yourself by;

- Clicking a hoodia review site link
- Placing your mouse over their "top" hoodia product links.
How to Tell
When you mouse over their product you will see a URL appear in your brower's status bar containing "?AFFILIATE=" or some variation of it. This means that the hoodia review site is getting paid for their reviews regardless of the quality of the product.
To be trusted, hoodia review sites should be impartial and have no financial incentive to review products. Furthermore, when it comes to any products that are listed in the top 3 of every review site side by side, it's safe to say that they are paying their way to the top. If they only worked as hard on providing a quality product as they did to fool the public into buying their products, this article wouldn't have needed writing.
